Overview

D-RATS is a compilation of three individual programs:

1. D-RATS Communications Program:

A. Chat provides instant messaging type communications between D-RATS stations in a broadcast mode to all monitoring stations .

B. Broadcast Text File will send out a text file in broadcast mode to all monitoring stations .

Send File will send a file to a specific D-RATS Station .
D.
Send Image will transmit an image file to an specific D-RATS Station
.
E. Ping Station will transmit a QSL request to a specific D-RATS station. Upon receiving the request, the receiving station automatically responds with acknowledgment to the originating D-RATS station.
F. Auto QST will send a predetermined message at a user defined schedule to all D-RATS stations in a broadcast mode to all monitoring stations. These messages can include user generated text, executable files, text files, GPS location information, and Static D- RATS station location information.
G. Quick Messages allows users to compose and store short text messages for one click send in a broadcast mode to all monitoring stations.
H. Forms allows the user to send a pre-built memo form , radiogram, ics213, or user defined custom forms to a
specific D-RATS Station
. Once received, the form is time and date stamped and can be replied to, or printed as needed.
I. Call Sign Log will capture and record all other D-RATS station information including time and date and location (if the station is sending gps information).

Mapping
provides a Geographical Interface to the GPS reporting capabilities of D-RATS and Icom Radios as well as provide for user customizable map points and overlays. (for some example overlays click here )
I. DPRS/APRS Reporting—D-RATS provides a useful information about download luxor mahjong means of reporting both Standard GPS and GPS-A strings simultaneously. NOTE: D-RATS send information in two (2) ways:
broadcast mode to all monitoring stations - Broadcast Mode will send to all stations. In that it is a broadcast, reception is not guaranteed and no error correction is provided.
specific D-RATS Station - By sending to a specific D-RATS station, error correction is provided and delivery confirmation is provided.  When possible this is the most reliable way to transfer information via D-RATS.
 
2. Download Map Utility allows the user to download maps for their area of interest for offline use.
3. D-RATS Repeater Proxy Allows other users to connect to your D-RATS application via a network connection.
