Chat provides instant messaging type communications between D-RATS stations in a broadcast mode to all monitoring stations . Chat is the old mahjong download starting point for most communication sessions. Once you have initiated a voice call and verified connectivity (although this is not required), a simple chat exchange will confirm D-RATS operation.

You can either type your message into the send window or copy and paste text from another document.

Click the send button.

Once the message has been sent, it will appear in the main chat window as seen below.

When the other station sends their response it will appear in your chat window as below.

 

The chat window will also notify you of other D-RATS station as they go on-line and off-line. See the examples below.

Note: Online and Offline notifications disabled and can be set in the user tab of the main settings menu. The Online and Offline messages are also user definable.  Default is as you see below.
